The Father Figures with Scorpion vs Tarantula

fatherfiguresfeb25ripsA co-headlining show with the infamous Scorpion vs Tarantula.  The Freaks of Nature will make their debut on this very same night. The Freaks are born out of the still smoldering ashes of The Wrong Ones (and the Killed Kids) and have honed in on their own’ stompin’ version of 60’s garage punk. You gotta see these guys.

JFA 30 Year Anniversary

Punk legends, SkateRock pioneers, fellow skateboarders. Call them what you will, JFA are returning to Arizona on Saturday, October 15 to the Hollywood Alley to celebrate their official 30th anniversary with friends and family with a blistering set of new killer tunes, along with a whole mess of their classic songs that defined a generation of skateboarding locally and around the world.

Get your ticket now.  We expect this to sell out.

JFA 30 Year Flier

JFA‘s new record, Speed of Sound totally kicks ass. Get one here. Joining in the festivities will be AZPX Records recording artists The Father Figures along with Anarchy Taco. Remember the Vandals?, these guys play Vandals songs better than the Vandals themselves. Just because.  Asses of Evil will open the show featuring original JFA drummer Bam Bam and skate legend Todd Joseph on Bass.  Also, we will be raffling off AZPX, JFA and FF merch to raise money for the ladies of the Roller Derby who graciously gave up this booking at Hollywood to accommodate us. Thank you, ladies!!

A Review of the Love Me Nots Show

We had a blast playing at the Yucca with the Love Me Nots.  It was a high energy show and the Love Me Nots were fantastic.  We have not played the Yucca before but now we are wondering what we were waiting for.  It’s one of the Valleys best live music spots.

Jason Woodbury at the Phoenix New Times reviewed the show.  We have to thank him for the kind words.
