The Safes, November 1 at Valley Bar

The Father Figures are playing at Valley Bar Wednesday, Nov. 1st. Why would you go, you ask? It’s our last show of the year, we’re releasing the CD version of our (to date) vinyl only “Heavy Lifting” LP, AND we’re bringing out one of Chicago’s best bands, The Safes (AND the Rebel Set)! Oh, and the CD will be much cheaper than downloading it. It would mean a lot to us if you could come out and hang with us for a bit, we promise to wrap the show up early (10:30) and get you home in bed just a little later than normal.

Heavy Lifting Record Release Show

On April 14th at the Valley Bar in Downtown Phoenix we are presenting  the release of Heavy Lifting on Slope Records.   It’s been a long time coming.  We think you will dig it.

The French Girls will open the show.  It’s only $5 at the door and we will have Heavy Lifting for sale along with some new t-shirts.

Skatercon Local Only Show

Phoenix Skatercon is back this year and we are playing the warm-up show on Friday, March 10th at Joe’s Grotto.  It’s going to be a killer weekend of skaterock.  JFA plays Saturday at Skatercon at Paradise Valley Skatepark.

Hey!  We are still here.  We wrapped up recording our 4th full-length album at Villain Recording in late October, 2016.  Now we are working on the cover art and other details.  This one is going to be on vinyl!  Slope Records is putting it out.  Besides the work on the record we have been laying low.  You will see us post shows for March and beyond.  The record release show will be in April and you will see the announcement soon.
